Our Founding Story
W Solutions LLC was born from both experience and necessity. Our founder, Horane Williams, began his career in the federal space in 2010, serving in roles that placed him at the intersection of national defense, cybersecurity, and government operations. As a veteran, Horane understood the stakes—he saw firsthand how cyber threats could undermine mission readiness and jeopardize critical government systems.
Over the years, he recognized a gap: while technology was advancing, many government agencies lacked dedicated, mission-focused cybersecurity partners who could not only provide solutions but also understand the unique culture, priorities, and demands of the U.S. Government and Department of Defense.
Motivated to close this gap, Horane founded W Solutions LLC—a SBA-certified Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Virginia SWaM-certified firm. His vision was clear: to build a company that delivers defense-grade cybersecurity engineering, government procurement support, and project management services tailored to the needs of federal agencies.
